Hi, we’re Nicki and Rebecca, proud parents to our little boy Noah, and the passionate duo behind Zurwin Luxury Stays

Our story is one of love, family and adventure - values that shape our lives and every space we create for our guests. We’ve always been a family that believes in making things happen. From renovating a 5-bedroom house in Arana Hills with our own hands, to embarking on adventures across New Zealand, Singapore, Bali and Hong Kong, we’ve never been one to shy away from a challenge or an opportunity to create something memorable. Some of our best memories have been made while road-tripping through New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. Our dream is to one day explore every corner of the world.

Closer to home, our happiest moments are spent with friends and family - sharing stories over great food and wine, laughing late into the night, or just enjoying the simple joy of being together. And of course, no introduction to our family is complete without mentioning our two beloved furbabies, Bolt and Bear, our Pomeranian and German Spitz who bring boundless energy and love into our lives.

When we started Zurwin Luxury Stays, we wanted to combine all these passions - to create spaces that reflect the comfort of home, the excitement of travel and a touch of the luxury we love to indulge in during our adventures. Every detail in our properties, from the design to the little thoughtful extras, is inspired by our own journey and the kinds of places we’d love to stay in ourselves.

For us, it’s more than just providing a place to stay - it’s about creating an experience where you can relax, connect and make your own special memories. Whether you’re travelling with loved ones, exploring solo, or here for work, we hope our spaces feel like the perfect balance of comfort, style and inspiration.

From first renovation to Zurwin Luxury Stays

Our story begins with our first home in Arana Hills, a charming 5-bedroom house that became the foundation of our passion for hosting. We poured our hearts (and plenty of sweat!) into renovating it ourselves, transforming it into a space that balanced modern luxury with the warmth of a family home. The process taught us not only about design and attention to detail but also about the joy of creating a place where people could truly feel comfortable and cared for.

When we decided to list it on Airbnb, we quickly discovered the potential of the short-term rental market. Guests loved the thoughtful touches, the spacious design, and how it felt like a real home - but with a touch of indulgence, they didn’t always find in similar listings. The feedback was overwhelmingly clear from families travelling together to professionals seeking a retreat; there was a gap in the market for stays that combined a luxury experience with the welcoming, lived-in comfort of home.

That realisation became our inspiration. We saw an opportunity to do more than host one property - we wanted to redefine what short-term rentals could be. People crave connection and authenticity in their stays, and we understand that luxury doesn’t have to mean cold or impersonal. It can be warm, inviting, and tailored to make every guest feel special.

Fast forward to today, and that vision has grown into Zurwin Luxury Stays. We’ve taken everything we learned from our experience with the Arana Hills property - attention to detail, listening to what guests love and creating spaces that feel upscale and welcoming and turned it into a business. Every property we offer reflects our belief that travellers deserve more than just a place to sleep; they deserve a space to create lasting memories.

From our humble beginnings in Arana Hills to hosting properties designed with care and passion, we’re proud to offer something that feels like a home away from home - complete with a little extra luxury. And it all started with a house that taught us what’s truly important in creating unforgettable stays.

This was one of the best apartments I have stayed while I have been using Airbnb. The place was spotless, fridge full of goodies and the girls were amazing to deal with. I will only be staying with them when I’m in Brisbane moving forward.

We stayed due to damage on our home while insurance work took place. Nicki and Bec were very empathetic and understanding of our situation and always offered any assistance we needed in this stressful time. Having our dog with us was amazing also. Beautiful home.

I had a great stay in this beautiful apartment. It felt like a little retreat! It was spacious with all the creature comforts you would need including a little covered balcony, beautiful furnishings, soft towels and linen. The kitchen was so well equipped and had everything. Would stay again!
